NDC’s Asiedu Nketiah Slams Nana Addo’s Government Over Poor Performance and Misuse of Funds

Official News Report | Eye on Western North Digital

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government of poor performance and misuse of government funds, citing Agenda 111 and COVID-19 levy as examples. NDC Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, made these remarks during his thank-you tour to the Western North Region, emphasizing the party’s commitment to resetting Ghana’s economy.

Asiedu Nketiah highlighted the NDC’s proposals, including the establishment of a Women’s Development Bank and the 24-Hour Economy policy, aimed at boosting women’s businesses and trade.

The NDC has consistently criticized the Akufo-Addo government for alleged corruption, nepotism, and economic mismanagement, citing scandals like the Agyapa Royalties deal and COVID-19 funds misuse.

Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh revealed that the government failed to deliver value for money on Agenda 111 projects, spending $400 million without completing a single project.

Asiedu Nketiah also urged party supporters to vote out individuals with divided loyalties in internal executive elections, stressing the importance of electing genuine NDC members who share the party’s vision and values.
