Hon. Bright Asamoah Brefo Bolsters Security in Bibiani with Donation of Brand-New Patrol Vehicle to Police

Western North Region, Security operations in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality received a major boost as Hon. Bright Asamoah Brefo donated a brand-new Nissan pickup vehicle to the Bibiani Divisional Police Command.

The presentation took place at a brief ceremony held at the forecourt of the Bibiani Anhiawso Bekwai Municipal Assembly. The grey double-cabin pickup, adorned with ceremonial ribbons and bows, bears the inscription “BIBIANI DIVISIONAL PATROLS – DONATED BY HON. B.A. BREFO” alongside the Ghana Police Service crest on the driver’s door.

Speaking at the handover, Hon. Brefo noted that the donation forms part of his commitment to enhancing safety and supporting security agencies with the logistics needed to combat crime effectively.

He emphasized that adequate resourcing of the police is critical to maintaining peace and protecting residents and businesses in the area.

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the command, the Divisional Police Commander expressed gratitude for the timely intervention. He stated that the new patrol vehicle will significantly improve response times, visibility, and routine patrols across the division, especially in hard-to-reach communities.

The vehicle is expected to be deployed immediately for divisional patrol duties.

The donation comes amid calls from residents and stakeholders for increased logistical support to security services in the Western North Region. Community members present at the event lauded Hon. Brefo’s gesture, describing it as a practical step toward strengthening law and order.
